These are my animation and short film projects I worked on since 2002. Mostly student teamprojects from the time when I studied at the German Film School. I will put up some new anmations from time to time. Have fun watching! ^^v
Animations
"Descendants" - Animation
„Descendants“ is a 14 minute animated short about the wish of attaining the unattainable
and about the fact that something good can evolve from something evil.
The two main characters are flowers (voiced by Whoopi Goldberg and Christy Scott Cashman)
who grow on the edge of a clearing next to one another. One is old and jaded by a
mysterious history - the other one still young, vivid and curious.
Destiny has brought these two together and it seems as if they would exist without possibility
for change, until one day a visitor to the clearing brings something unexpected to their lives.

"Agent Omicron" - Animation
I teamed up with some colleagues from work and my brother to participate in the Secret Agent Team Video Challenge at CGSociety. Our idea was to create an intro sequence for an imaginary TV series called 'Agent Omicron'.
We got the first place in the Team Video Category.

"The
Beauty Of Life" - animated short
The Beauty Of Life is a 2D short we made at the end of the 1st term at
The German Film School. Everything was drawn by hand. It was a huge project
and we put a lot of time and effort in this short. The production time
was approx. 1 year.
The Beauty Of Life made 1st place at the animago award 2003 in animation/alternative.

"Interview
With Carl Hawkins" - animated short
This is my thesis,"Interview with Carl Hawkins". My thesis was
about credible eyeanimation of 3D characters. I reused the character "Klork"
from The Orkbabies
for this short cause I wanted to put my focus on animation. Thnx to Jens-Ole
Bukowsky who did the lighting and rendering! And to all other people
who helped me out during my studies at the German Film School!

"The
Orkbabies " - animated short
"The Orkbabies" is a shortfilm project I did with 5 other students
in the 5th term. The basic idea was to create a pilot for a 3d series.
The production time was about 5 months. For more information, visit the

"Merkaba - Future Metropole" - animated short
"Merkaba Future Metropole" is a project I did with 4 other students in the 5th term. Our task was to create a demonstration movie for a flight simulator. The production time was about 2 months.

"A Hard Day's Night" is my "Solo Project" that I made
during the 4th term at the German Film School. I worked 5months on this
short.

"Kong
and Bird" - animated short
"Kong and Bird" was our first 3D short. We finshed the short
within 3months. With Kong I won 2 prizes at the animago award 2003.
In the stills category I won 1st place and I won an additional 2nd place
for the teaser.

The Cat" - animated short
"Roger The Cat" is a project I had to finish within 4days. It's
one of the projects you have to do at the German Film School. Modeling,

Love " - music clip
This video was produced during the 3rd term at The German Film School. The
whole video was completed in three weeks. The singer is a friend I know
from my hometown Hamburg.
